Kirkwood Wilson are proud to be finalists in the North West Finance Awards’ Small Accountancy Firm’ category.
Earlier in the year, we were approached by a respected business contact who asked if we would be happy to be nominated in the North West Finance Awards as he considered that we were more proactive and forward thinking than many of our competitors. We were very pleased with this suggestion and he compiled evidence of our progressive approach and sent this to be reviewed by the expert judging panel of these prestigious awards.
On Friday we were delighted to hear that we had reached the ‘finalist’ stage and that we should be proud of this endorsement of our success.
Daniel Wilson, Senior Chartered Accountant at Kirkwood Wilson comments;
We are delighted to be selected as Finalists for this prestigious award. At Kirkwood Wilson we are always pushing the boundaries to make sure we deliver value to our clients, year after year. We have developed our own set of bespoke modules, called the PROFIT modules, which focus on optimising every aspect of a business to ultimately improve profit. We are highly committed to training and development – we have recently put our staff through their SAGE exams, making us the only Accredited SAGE partner in Southport.
We were informed that there had been a record number of entries this year and that, by reaching the final stage, we had been recognised for excellence by the profession.
The organiser of the North West Finance Awards, Steve Crohill said;
“The competition has been exceptional this year, and we’re delighted that you’re among the finalists for the Small Accountancy Award. After stringent review by our expert judging panel, we really felt your firm stood out from other small accountancy firms. Getting this far is a real accolade!”
The next steps…
The final judging will take place over the next few weeks and the awards will be presented on 25th September at the Macron Stadium in Bolton. We are certainly chuffed with this achievement and we’ll let you know how we do!
Many thanks for your continued support.
